We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Supervisor to help lead our café/restaurant team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will be responsible for supervising daily front-of-house operations, ensuring service standards are met, and supporting the team in creating a welcoming, efficient, and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and support front-of-house staff including servers, baristas, and hosts during service hours.
* Ensure smooth service flow on the floor, managing table turns, waitlists, and guest seating effectively.
* Lead by example in providing friendly, attentive, and efficient service to guests.
* Monitor food and beverage presentation and ensure it meets quality standards before being served.
* Address customer feedback and resolve any service issues or complaints calmly and professionally.
* Assist in training, coaching, and motivating team members to maintain high standards.
* Help manage stock levels for front-of-house supplies and communicate needs to the management or procurement team.
* Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and food handling standards.
* Handle cash management, billing, and POS system oversight when required.
Requirements:
* Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a front-of-house supervisory or senior service role in a café, restaurant, or similar environment.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
* Well-organized and able to manage time effectively during busy shifts.
* Working knowledge of POS systems and basic administrative duties.
* Flexible availability including weekends.
* Barista experience desirable- but full training will be provided
