Maintenance Planner Business Aviation
Full time permanent - Oxfordshire.
Our customer is at the forefront of today's modern business aviation market sector, located in the heart of rural Oxfordshire, they are seeking to hire an experienced Maintenance Planner, to coordinate and optimise aircraft MRO maintenance requirements.
Responsibilities
Duties Include:
• Identify and source tooling and materials required to support maintenance activities
• Develop and manage comprehensive maintenance work packs
• Draft logbook certificates in accordance with regulatory standards
• Review completed work packs for compliance with relevant regulations
• Integrate operator maintenance programmes into MRO software systems
• Provide planning support throughout the maintenance lifecycle
• Monitor and report on labour budget utilisation during maintenance inputs
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure efficient execution of maintenance tasks
• Drive improvements in planning processes, including time booking and work pack completion
• Support technology upgrades and process enhancements
Education, skills & background
In order to be successful in this role the Planning Engineer will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
• Proven technical background within the aviation sector, ideally with business jets
• Prior experience in a planning or maintenance coordination role within an MRO environment
• Strong understanding of aviation maintenance standards and regulatory compliance
• Proficient in the use of MRO software systems
• Right to live and work in the UK
