BLG is a group of diverse companies, all at different points in their TA journey, and they need someone who can build strong relationships, see the bigger picture and still happily roll their sleeves up when needed.
The Role
You’ll lead our Group Talent Acquisition function, responsible for UK recruitment delivery and supporting international activity where needed. This is a true “player-coach” role.
You’ll be:
* Leading, developing and supporting two brilliant TA specialists who are passionate about doing great work.
* Setting the direction, standards and measurable outcomes for recruitment across the Group.
* Personally owning recruitment for our BLG Head Office roles.
* Shaping and evolving our recruitment strategy, employer brand, processes and data-driven insight.
* Driving improvements to candidate experience and helping define what “good” looks like for the Group going forward.
This is a great role for someone who enjoys variety, influence and visibility but also loves getting stuck into delivery.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who knows internal recruitment inside out and enjoys partnering with leaders to get things done.
You’ll probably bring:
* Strong internal TA / recruitment experience
* Experience leading, coaching or developing a recruitment team
* Confidence operating in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment
* A problem-solving, solutions-focused mindset
* The ability to think strategically while delivering operationally
* Comfort using data and insight to drive better decisions
* A genuine commitment to inclusive, fair hiring
