Children's Residential Support Worker - Northampton, UK

Job Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.
* Assist in the development and implementation of individual care plans.
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
* Support children in daily activities, including education, leisure, and personal care.
* Maintain a safe and secure environment for all residents.
* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including social workers and educators.
* Document and report on the progress and needs of each child.
* Engage in training and professional development opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Experience working with children and young people, preferably in a residential setting.
* Relevant qualifications in childcare, social work, or a related field (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
* Understanding of child development and safeguarding practices.
* Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to support children.
* Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
* Full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
