Job summary
The role of a Food and Beverage Assistant at Avery Healthcare involves supporting the dining service and assisting residents with their meals. Main duties
As a Food and Beverage Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options when dining.
* Ensuring that the standard operating procedures set dining tables, keeping the front of the house clean, tidy, and well-presented, and replenishing dirty crockery throughout the day.
* Ensuring fresh homemade cakes/biscuits, finger food, and fresh fruit options are accessible in the bistro areas and replenished throughout the day.
* Being aware of residents' dietary requirements.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member is to support the dining service and assist residents with their meals. Other responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options when dining.
* Ensuring that the standard operating procedures set dining tables.
* Keeping the front of the house clean, tidy, and well-presented, and ensuring dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
* Ensuring fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas and replenished throughout the day, as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
* Being aware of residents' dietary requirements.

* Our ideal candidate must have: Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene; Having experience working in a similar setting, such as a restaurant, or hotel would be desirable; A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial; Demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of culinary services to residents.
