The Role
Were seeking a proactive and technically astute Project Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering Department. Youll play a pivotal role in managing complex engineering projects from concept through to production, acting as the technical bridge between customers, internal teams, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
* Translate customer requirements into robust technical specifications
* Drive DFMA (Design for Manufacture and Assembly) across all project stages
* Create and manage detailed project plans, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
* Develop and execute comprehensive Verification & Validation (V&V) plans
* Scope and define design concepts that meet technical and commercial goals
* Coordinate cross-functional resources to deliver detailed design outputs
* Lead DFMEA creation and maintenance
* Track and document progress against technical requirements
* Present project updates at gate reviews and key milestones
* Provide feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives
* Undertake additional duties aligned with the scope of the role
What Youll Bring
* Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, or related discipline)
* Proven experience in project engineering within a manufacturing or automotive environment
* Strong understanding of DFMA, DFMEA, and V&V methodologies
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Proficiency in engineering tools and project management software
* A collaborative mindset with a drive for innovation and quality
