Clinical Support Worker - WINTER PRESSURES
1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicants
University Hospitals of North Midlands is currently unable to provide sponsorship for Band 2 and Band 3 roles. This is in accordance with UKVI guidelines and legislation, as these roles do not meet the skill nor salary threshold for sponsorship. If you hold a graduate visa, you are welcome to apply for this role; however, UHNM will be unable to offer sponsorship at the end of your graduate visa. You must have at least six months until your graduate visa expires at the start of your employment for training and operational reasons.
The role of the Band 2 Clinical Support Worker post is flexible; the post holder will provide support over a wide range of services/functions. Staff will work variable hours on a week‑by‑week basis within agreed limits and will adhere to the local Code of Conduct for Clinical Support Workers.
Shortlisted candidates will need to attend a face‑to‑face recruitment event on Wednesday 12th November at the Wade Conference Centre (Hartshill Road, Stoke‑on‑Trent, ST4 7NY). The assessment day will include Maths and English tests, a group discussion, a practical test and an informal interview. No alternative dates or online interviews are available due to the practical elements of the process.
