Overview
Care Without Compromise, a Choice Care sister company in Wales, supports people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions and associated complex needs. With its own clinical team, Care Without Compromise has a particular expertise in understanding and supporting individuals with challenging behaviours. Specialist therapeutic services are integrated into the day to day person-centred support offered to the people we support, enabling them to progress towards a more meaningful and enjoyable daily life.
Responsibilities
* Providing personal care - including bathing, toileting, dressing and help with feeding
* Medication administration
* Assisting and getting involved in residents' daily activities, hobbies or outings
* Following care plan guidance alongside Company policies and procedures
* Developing an open, honest, and considerate working relationship with residents
* Maintaining written daily records
* Attending and completing training, as required
Key characteristics
Being patient, reliable, flexible, a team player and a good communicator are key characteristics of a successful Social Care Worker. Staff are fully trained in Positive Behaviour Support and encouraged to develop their skills and career with the company, providing consistency and stability in the homes.
