This is a fantastic opportunity to become a Personal Assistant (17 hours per week) supporting a vibrant, fun-loving woman in her 60s who lives independently in the Prestonfield area of Edinburgh.
🌟 About the Role
You’ll be part of a small, close-knit team providing support across 7 days a week, typically working:
1. 2 shifts per week (10:00 am – 6:00 pm) differing days over weeks
2. Flexibility to pick up extra shifts when covering holidays trainings and sickness
This role is about working alongside someone as an equal— recognising strengths, respecting choices, and supporting her to live life in a way that matters to her.

You’ll be supporting a warm, outgoing woman who:
3. Loves socialising, dancing, and singing
4. Enjoys puzzles and games (especially Scrabble!)
5. Likes going out for meals and telling jokes
6. She vapes too
She brings energy, humour, and personality to every day — and is looking for someone who will enjoy life alongside her.

8. Build a genuine, respectful working relationship based on trust and understanding
9. Contribute to team planning, rota coordination, and shared responsibilities
10. Take part in meetings and support outcome-focused planning
11. Share in admin tasks including working together to complete the team rota with a view to support team moving to self organised
12. Expected to attend monthly team meetings and persons 6 month reviews
