The role is community based and includes providing support and personal care for people in their own homes to help them be safe and independent. Our service users are individuals, and all deserve to be treated as such. The position is full-time and involves working across various runs in Dumfries.

A general guide to the duties we provide includes some support with personal care needs and preparing meals, as well as helping to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support health and wellbeing, such as gardening, shopping trips and social occasions. No two days will be the same. Working in care can be flexible, as your hours are usually based on shift patterns, so a work/life balance that suits you is achievable.
Responsibilities
* Provide support with personal care and daily activities in clients’ homes
* Assist with meals and meal preparation
* Encourage participation in activities that support health and wellbeing (e.g., gardening, shopping, social occasions)
* Help clients stay safe and independent at home
* Deliver care with compassion, respect, and dignity
Qualifications
* Experience and qualifications are desirable, but values and attitude toward caring for clients are the most important
* Both drivers and walkers are welcome to apply
* Must be in the UK to apply for this role
