Genus is seeking a dynamic and experienced Farm Consultancy Team Leader to oversee our North region consultancy team. This is a unique opportunity to combine leadership, mentoring, and hands-on consultancy work in a role that directly supports the success of farming businesses across the region.
You’ll be responsible for guiding a team of consultants, driving performance, and delivering top-tier advisory services to clients. If you're passionate about agriculture, thrive in a collaborative environment, and have a knack for developing talent, we’d love to hear from you.
You Will
* Lead and coordinate day-to-day operations of the North consultancy team
* Provide line management, goal setting, and performance reviews for junior and mid-level consultants
* Mentor and coach team members through on-farm guidance and skills development
* Drive team performance to meet sales, delivery, and quality targets
* Collaborate with other Team Leaders and the Head of Farm Consultancy to align strategies and share best practices
Requirements
* Proven experience in agricultural consultancy or farm advisory services
* Strong leadership and team development skills
* Excellent planning, communication, and relationship-building abilities
* Commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset
* Experience mentoring professionals in both technical and business development areas
* Analytical thinking and a proactive approach to process improvement
* A degree in agriculture is desirable but not essential
* Full driving licence required
