This position is part‑time. The working week will be 36 hours, with a pro‑rated salary based on the full‑time band. Pay will not be affected by the reduction in hours.
PVG Scheme membership is required. If you are not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group, you must apply to Disclosure Scotland and be deemed satisfactory before you can begin in post.

Responsibilities
* Manage a specialist caseload, delivering comprehensive mental health assessment, care planning, and evidence‑based interventions (individual and group)
* Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and specialist advice to the multidisciplinary team
* Act upon referrals from other health professionals and offer advice on perinatal issues to GPs, midwives, health visitors and community mental health colleagues
* Lead on risk assessment, safeguarding and safe practice within the community setting
* Contribute to service development, policy implementation and quality improvement activities including audit and research
* Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to ensure coordinated, patient‑centred care
* Support workforce development through teaching, mentoring and participation in appraisal and supervision processes
Key Requirements
* Registered Mental Health Nurse with the NMC
* Evidence of significant post‑registration professional practice experience
* Evidence of specialist/advanced practice knowledge in mental health care
* Experience managing complex caseloads and delivering evidence‑based interventions
* Strong clinical leadership, decision‑making and risk assessment skills
* Knowledge of safeguarding, public protection and relevant legislation
* Excellent communication and multidisciplinary working skills
