The vacancy
We are currently looking to recruit two Exams Invigilators to support the smooth running of internal and external examinations across our college. This is a key role ensuring exam integrity and providing a calm, supportive environment for our learners.
Key Responsibilities
1. Collect and prepare examination materials prior to each session.
2. Set up exam rooms, ensuring clocks, desks, and signage are correctly arranged.
3. Admit and verify candidates, checking ID and Statements of Entry.
4. Distribute papers and supervise exams, including online assessments.
5. Complete required documentation such as attendance registers and seating plans.
6. Return scripts and materials to the Exams Office post-exam.
7. Maintain confidentiality and uphold exam regulations at all times.
Essential Criteria
8. Good standard of education.
9. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
10. Able to act on own initiative when required.
11. Tactful and diplomatic when dealing with students and staff.
12. Attention to detail and accuracy in following procedures
Additional Information
13. Safer Recruitment: As part of the recruitment process and in line with keeping children safe in education, we will conduct social media checks on shortlisted candidates. Additionally, before commencing employment, all employees undergo safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS.

Let’s Teach The LET’s teach programme supports new members of teaching staff in terms of college systems and key teaching and learning areas including new staff lesson visits and postcard peeps. Each new member of staff has an allocated Lead Practitioner who works closely with them throughout the programme.
Let’s Bloom
The LET’s Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal.
