Job Overview
As a Vehicle Technician, you will carry out maintenance and repairs on BMW and MINI
vehicles, ensuring they meet manufacturer standards for safety, reliability and
performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine servicing, inspections, and maintenance in line with BMW/MINI UK
standards.
* Diagnose and resolve vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment and technical
expertise.
* Repair and replace vehicle components to a high standard.
* Thorough inspect vehicles for wear, damage, and potential issues.
* Accurately document all findings, repairs, and recommendations.
* Provide expert technical advice to customers and service advisors.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and excellent
customer service.
* Keep up to date with the latest BMW/MINI technical information and repair
procedures.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment,
Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong technical expertise in vehicle mechanics, electrics, and electronics.
* Proven diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
* Experience in repairing and replacing vehicle components.
* Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers and colleagues.
* High attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
* Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
* Experience with electric and hybrid vehicles desirable.
* Full UK driving license required.
