Following an internal promotion, we have an immediate vacancy for an experienced sales ledger clerk to work part-time alongside our finance team. Candidates should be experienced in Sage Accounts, competent in Microsoft Excel and preferably AAT qualified. Main duties will include bank reconciliation, reconciliation of sales receipts from our retail stores and online business. Experience in working in a high-volume transaction-based business and familiarity with reconciliation of multiple payment methods, e.g., duality, PayPal, Amex, would be advantageous. This is a part-time, flexible role. Main areas of responsibility will include: Weekly import and reconciliation of sales invoices and receipts. Allocation of receipts, including error checking and discrepancy resolution. Bank reconciliation of the trading bank account. Petty cash entry and processing of weekly cash sheets onto Sage. Month end reporting. Ability to support with the purchase ledger team at times of peak trading and / or absence. To undertake all training and development as required and actively seek out new product information and best practice.
