Central Recruitment is currently recruiting for a part time Administrative Assistant, to work in the Croydon & Greenwich areas. You will provide administrative and marketing support to the supported lodging service.
The successful candidate will be required to work 22.2 hours (3 days) per week, working Monday, Thursday & Friday, core hours are 9AM – 5PM. Temporary cover is required until 16th May 2025, with the possibility of extension. The pay rate for this role is £13.85 per hour, with £2.01 holiday pay, totalling £15.86 per hour.
Please note; you will work from the Croydon Office 2 days a week and from the Greenwich Office one day a week to provide marketing support.
In this position, you will be expected to;
* Provide administrative support to frontline staff
* Liaise with internal/ external stakeholders via phone call & emails
* Confirm appointments and queries
* Take Briefing Minutes
* Maintain and update case files, diaries, and record-keeping systems.
* Ensure accurate and timely formatting of support documentation aligned with safeguarding and best practice standards
* Support the delivery of our local marketing campaign, liaising with the marketing officer and engaging local partners
* Assist with promotional materials, event coordination, and outreach logistics
To apply for this role, you must have:
* Strong administrative experience in a support or social care setting
* Proven experience or strong knowledge of social care admin processes, including compiling, writing, and formatting support plans, risk assessments, and case notes
* High attention to detail, excellent organisational skills
* Basic awareness around safeguarding
* Confident working independently and within a fast-paced team environment

Further requirements:
In order to register with Central Recruitment Services for temporary agency work, candidates must meet the following criteria:
* Current valid right to work in the UK
* Minimum 12 months’ of paid experience in a front line social care role within the last 3 years* (unless recruitment criteria states otherwise)
* A fully enhanced DBS registered on the DBS update service or willingness to apply for one through Central (at a cost of £60)
* Employment or education history to cover the last 5 years which can be verified through the referencing process
