Job Details:
1. Pay: £12.71 per hour
2. Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, and Friday, 8:30am to 2:30pm
3. Duration: Temporary, ongoing
Job Role: As an Accounts Administrator, you will support the finance team with daily bank uploads, bank account reconciliations, customer account reconciliations, and resolving customer account queries. The Accounts Administrator will also assist with unidentified customer receipts, debt chasing, and general accounting duties. This Accounts Administrator role requires accuracy, strong communication skills, and the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and customers.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
4. Ability to process data efficiently and accurately
5. Competent using accounting systems, spreadsheets, and word processing software
6. Good numeracy skills
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills
8. Ability to work methodically and present information clearly
9. Fully literate in IT office-based software packages
10. Excellent customer service skills
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
11. Experience as an Accounts Administrator or similar finance role
12. Using integrated computerised accounts systems
13. Posting bank transactions and completing bank account reconciliations
14. Posting customer account transactions and reconciliations
15. Working in an accounting environment
16. Cross-department collaborative working
17. Providing financial information to external auditors
