The role
We are seeking a creative, self-starting wordsmith for the role of PR and Marketing Executive to support the planning, creation, execution and optimisation of the ESFA marketing strategy. The role includes the day-to-day account management of our commercial partners and delivering their marketing requirements for the ESFA channels. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing brand awareness through the creation of written content for the website, event programmes, emailers, press releases, media liaison and event management. Main responsibilities: To implement the PR strategy, writing press releases and liaising with media To create written content on the Association’s website, emailers and press releases To draft marketing materials such as programmes, newsletters and event branding materials To consult with printers and designers and manage the approval process To account-manage our commercial partners' day to day marketing requirements To prepare coherent marketing campaign reports using data analysis tools To manage the marketing database and email distribution To contribute to event management and delivery of event KPI’s To supporting the PR, Marketing and Comms Manager in completing agreed activities To stay up to date with the latest marketing trends, tools, and best practices through regular training To fulfil the financial responsibilities of the role as prescribed in the Financial Regulations; To participate in training, development and appraisal processes necessary to fulfil the role; To support the ESFA Council to fulfil its responsibilities; To act with high standards of professionalism, business integrity and personal conduct at all times; To act as an ambassador for the ESFA in the conduct of all business; To comply with the requirements of the staff handbook; To comply with the Association’s safeguarding requirements and to contribute to the delivery of the ESFA’s safeguarding plans; To use best endeavours to support others in the achievement of their objectives; To conduct any other duties as may reasonably be required by the employer.
