Apparel Warehouse Coordinator
£26,000–£28,000 gross per annum
Our client operates a modern logistics and distribution hub serving fashion brands and fashion manufacturers. They pride themselves on exceptional service, accuracy, and care for product handling.
You will combine warehouse coordination with customer care responsibilities to ensure smooth inbound/outbound operations, accurate stock control and excellent client communication. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, good organisation and a customer-first mindset when dealing with premium fashion clients.
Key Responsibilities for the Apparel Warehouse Coordinator:
* Coordinate daily warehouse operations: receiving, inspection, storage, picking and dispatch of high-end garments and accessories.
* Maintain accurate stock records; perform regular cycle counts and assist with full stocktakes.
* Prepare and check shipping documentation, labels and quality checks to brand standards.
* Liaise with suppliers, carriers and brand representatives to resolve discrepancies and schedule deliveries/collections.
* Provide first-line customer care: respond to client enquiries (phone/email), update order/status information and escalate issues to senior management when needed.
* Log and manage returns, repairs and quality claims according to client agreements.
* Ensure compliance with brand-specific handling protocols and H&S / COSHH requirements.
* Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic office software to update records and produce reports.
* Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Skills required for the Apparel Warehouse Coordinator:
* Previous experience in warehouse coordination, inventory control or customer service experience with apparel logistics is highly desirable.
* Strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
* Confident communicator with professional client-facing skills.
* Proficient with WMS or other inventory systems and MS Office (Excel).
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, problem-solve and remain calm under pressure.
* Team player with a positive attitude and flexible approach.
Hours of work for the Apparel Warehouse Coordinator:
Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00
