Position: Learning Support Assistant
Pay Rate: £12.82 per hour
Location: Bournemouth
Start Date: June 2024
Working Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm

At GSL Education we are supporting local schools in the Bournemouth area with their recruitment of Learning Support Assistants.
The schools are predominantly mainstream primary schools, although we do work with local SEN schools. Within the mainstream classroom, as a Learning Support Assistant you will also be supporting pupils who have additional learning, behaviour, social or educational needs. Therefore, 1:1 and small group provision and support may be required, as well as whole class support.
The position is also open for candidates who are looking for some flexible work, but also can be a more full-time position if desired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively support the Class Teacher
- Work with groups of children or on a 1:1 basis
- Help to engage pupils and promote progress
- Respond to the needs of the pupils
