As a Graduate Cost Consultant / Quantity Surveyor, you will…
Contribute to the delivery of residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments from day one. You’ll gain exposure across all stages of the project lifecycle - from early-stage cost planning through to procurement and post-contract support.
Typical tasks include:
Cost Planning & Estimating:
• Assisting with preparation of budget estimates and elemental cost plans
• Supporting value engineering and feasibility assessments
• Working with project teams to understand design and cost impacts
Procurement Support:
• Helping to prepare tender documentation
• Supporting tender analysis and contractor appointment processes
• Assisting with the preparation of contract documents
Post-Contract Management:
• Monitoring project costs and preparing payment recommendations
• Supporting change control processes and cost forecasting
• Attending site and progress meetings with the project team
• Learning to manage commercial risks and support client objectives
What do we look for?
• A degree (or on track to complete one) in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, or a related discipline
• A keen interest in the built environment and infrastructure development
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from experienced mentors
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiasm, ambition, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• A desire to work towards chartership
