Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical safety input into design and operational activities of FPSO and marine systems, including topsides, hull, turret, and mooring systems.
* Conduct and/or facilitate safety studies such as HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, SIL, Bow Tie Analysis, and LOPA.
* Develop and maintain Safety Cases, ALARP demonstrations, and other regulatory deliverables.
* Perform risk assessments, consequence modeling (e.g., fire, explosion, dispersion), and escape, evacuation, and rescue (EER) analysis.
* Ensure compliance with IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, and offshore classification society requirements.
* Review and approve technical safety deliverables such as FERA, EERA, SIMOPS plans, and Safety Philosophies.
* Provide input into layout optimization, fire and gas detection, active and passive fire protection systems.
* Support MOC (Management of Change), incident investigation, and root cause analysis from a safety engineering perspective.
* Participate in safety audits, design reviews, and readiness assurance for offshore operations.
* Collaborate with naval architects, marine engineers, process engineers, and regulatory authorities.
