This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced hospitality professionals to join a trusted event catering team on a flexible relief basis.
The role is ideal for people who already work in hospitality and are looking for extra weekly hours that can fit around days off, studying, family commitments or existing work. You will be supporting a busy, professional events team that takes pride in delivering smooth, consistent and high-quality service across a range of functions and occasions.
This role does require previous hospitality experience, as you will need to be confident stepping into live event environments and supporting service from the start.
Relief Event Staff Ideal Profile
* Previous hospitality experience in events, catering, restaurants, hotels or similar service environments
* Confident working in busy service settings and able to hit the ground running
* Professional, reliable and well-presented when representing the team at events
* Comfortable working flexible weekly shifts around other commitments
* Positive, hands on and happy to support wherever needed during service
* Strong communication skills and a genuine focus on guest experience
Relief Event Staff Responsibilities
* Support the events team with food and drink service across a variety of functions
* Help set up and prepare event spaces before guests arrive
* Deliver friendly, professional and efficient service throughout each event
* Assist with clearing, resetting and keeping service areas clean and organised
* Work closely with the wider team to ensure events run smoothly
* Maintain high standards of presentation, service and professionalism always
