You’ll be paid a salary of up to £65,000 - £70,000 per annum depending upon experience, you’ll also receive 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days so you can enjoy a positive work-life balance. What you’ll do on a typical day:

* Produce a full and detailed fleet replacement programme, including routes to market to finance the programme, whilst also considering the current and future needs of our customer
* Evaluating the policies and procedures of today, to ensure we receive value for money from our service agents and are striking the correct balance between cost and service
* Leading key fleet initiatives, including potential EV introduction and other alternative fuel options
* Be accountable for the performance of the vendors and address issues and complaints from customers or staff regarding repairer performance promptly and conclusively to the satisfaction of the company and our customers, updating all parties, as necessary

What you need to succeed at GXO:

* Experience of working in, or alongside 3PL’s and maintenance providers
* Both technical and managerial experience in LGV vehicle maintenance/compliance
* A minimum of Level 3 City and Guilds Mechanical qualification or equivalent and CPC holder both desirable
* Strong commercial and financial acumen, ability to work on multiple gainshare projects
* Strong decision making and problem-solving skills with experience in management of fleet budgets and fleet replacement programmes
