My client – a high-performance global exchange operating at the forefront of FX and digital-asset markets – is seeking a highly skilled C++ Engineer to join their elite engineering team. This group consists of exceptional talent from top-tier trading firms, leading crypto venues, big tech, and high-performance start-ups — all focused on building the next generation of low-latency market infrastructure.
In this role, you’ll contribute across a wide range of high-impact projects within the core exchange stack. You will have genuine end-to-end ownership of design and implementation, as well as meaningful influence over architecture, performance strategy, and future technical direction.
This is a deeply engineering-driven environment seeking ambitious, curious, entrepreneurial technologists who want to shape the future of global FX and digital-asset execution.
The role is based in London, with flexibility for hybrid working.
You Will Have:
* 5+ years of experience with modern C++ (C++17/20 or later)
* Experience building high-performance, real-time, or low-latency distributed systems
* Background in FX, crypto, or electronic trading environments (exchange, market-making, HFT, or quant/prop trading highly valued)
* Strong understanding of concurrency, network programming, and high-level systems design
* Some leadership experience—mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives
* A curious, performance-obsessed, and tech-driven personality
