Posted: 18 July
Offer description

Come and join a dedicated service that has recently transitioned to a locality working model, combining level 3 and 4 services.

This is an exciting opportunity to bring your skills and help shape brighter futures for children and families!

We have full-time, permanent positions available across our North and South Locality Hubs.

About us

Buckinghamshire Council is a relatively new organisation that combines the strengths of five previous councils to create positive change for residents, communities, and businesses. We are committed to serving residents better and providing stronger representation for Buckinghamshire both locally and nationally.

Buckinghamshire is an ambitious, rapidly growing county with a strong economy. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty, ranked as one of the top rural areas to live in the UK, and is well connected, only an hour from London by train. The county has a rich history and heritage and is the birthplace of the Paralympic movement.

We are looking for motivated, ambitious, and inspiring individuals to join us. You will be entitled to a range of benefits to support your well-being both at work and at home.

About the role

As a Family Support Worker at Buckinghamshire Council, you will ensure the highest standards of support are provided to children and families. Your responsibilities will include:

* Making relevant referrals and signposting for children and families according to statutory guidelines.

* Coordinating and chairing team around the child meetings with partner agencies.
* Maintaining accurate records within required timeframes.
* Transporting children and families using your own vehicle when necessary.

This list is not exhaustive; please refer to the full job description for more details.

Any-Desk:

As an ‘any-desk’ worker, you’ll need to connect to our network to access digital resources, which can be from home or an office. You will be required to work from the office a few times a week, depending on your role and team needs.
