What you’ll be doing
as a Senior Project Manager:
1. Lead and manage project activities / delivery team/s.
2. Define and baseline the project’s scope, plan and budget that will successfully deliver the business outcomes / objectives.
3. Identify, engage and manage direct and indirect stakeholders appropriately in context of their role within the project/s.
4. Establish and manage regular project review meetings covering cost, schedule, resources, RAID and RAG statuses.
Effective management of risks, issues and costs:
5. Identify and manage RAID items within the project and escalate where appropriate.
6. Manage project change (scope, time, budget) within agreed tolerances or escalate changes to the project control board/s.
Follow agreed governance standards across the project/s lifecycles/s
7. Attend project initiation workshops and creation of any associated material to instigate a new project.
8. Create project closure reports and lead lessons learned workshops.
Base Location: Clearwater Court, Reading - Hybrid
Working Pattern or hours: Full Time – 36 hours a week

You will also be able to demonstrate:
12. Experience of Digital / IT project management delivery role
13. Experience of financial management up to £3m per annum
14. Experience of Agile and/or Product Management delivery methodologies
15. Direct line management experience and advantage but not essential
16. Knowledge of infrastructure and IT (Technical delivery projects)
17. PRINCE 2 Practitioner or equivalent experience in a digital environment
It would be desirable if you also demonstrated:
18. Experience in delivering Cyber projects and adherence to regulatory standards
19. Understanding of Network infrastructure both at a local and Wide area level
20. Understanding of Security tool sets and vendors
