We are looking for a Senior Engineering Surveyor to join our infrastructure team at the Lower Thames Crossing site.
What you’ll do:
1. Support the Engineering Survey Manager in co-ordination across all technical work streams, during each stage of a project from design verification through to construction.
2. Develop their engineering survey teams to meet project needs and ensure they have the correct training/knowledge in how to work safely.
3. Ensure that the project have the appropriate survey control network to fulfil the construction requirements.
4. Setting out the works in accordance with the contract requirements before work is programmed to commence.
5. Share expert advice and guidance to the members of the engineering survey teams and other parts of the business related to engineering surveying and geospatial best practice.
6. Provide a topographical survey in preparation for engineering works on site, setting out for the works, reports and measures and final survey information.
7. Review with the engineering team that sufficient information is available and in the correct format to set out the works in accordance with the programme.
8. Ensure quality is adhered to in relation to setting out and inspection and test plans.
What you’ll bring to the role:
9. ONC/B Tec in Land Surveying or Engineering Surveying and previous experience as a Senior Engineering Surveyor.
10. Extensive awareness of appropriate survey instruments, software and working methods.
11. Full professional Membership of CICES or equivalent body.
12. Commercial acumen.
