Your role is to assist in the preparation and maintenance of all Golf playing surfaces to the agreed high standard. Duties will also involve the maintenance and presentation of Estate Grounds. To occasionally carry out mowing operations using pedestrian mowing equipment only using the equipment that has had training provided. This will include ensuring equipment is prepared, maintained, and operated as instructed in accordance with operator’s manual, SOPs, and risk assessments. Assist in the aeration of turf by emptying boxes and clearing playing surface. Performing turf operations including divot repair and turf laying. Bunker maintenance including weeding, raking, construction and topping up sand. Path maintenance to include filling in potholes with gravel and weeding. Weeding using nonchemical methods. Leaf, debris, and litter clearance. Changing tee markers and hole signage as directed. Maintenance of ball washers. Be mindful to take care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your actions at work. If you have specific queries or concerns relating to health and safety in the workplace, always discuss this with your manager/supervisor or health and safety representative. Attend health and safety training as directed. Reporting any unsafe or non-optimal equipment to the management immediately. Follow all directions, signage and training given.
