Ashley Kate Finance is proud to be working with a long-established business based in South Lincolnshire, as they look to appoint an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a commercially minded, hands-on finance professional who thrives on leading the month-end process and adding value through operational support. The role involves close collaboration with both finance and non-finance teams, contributing significantly to financial clarity and performance across the business.
Main responsibilities include:
* Preparing monthly management accounts, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and variance analysis
* Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting cycles
* Partnering with operational departments to deliver financial insights and guidance
* Producing essential reports and KPIs to support commercial strategy
* Supporting year-end processes and audit preparation
* Driving improvements in financial systems and internal controls
The ideal candidate will have:
* Demonstrable experience in a Management Accountant role
* Strong Excel capabilities and confident using finance systems
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across functions
* A background in manufacturing or a product-driven environment (preferred)
* A relevant accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA - part or fully qualified), or be qualified by experience
