Customer Services Triage Officer - Fixed Term
Christchurch City Council's Regulatory Compliance Unit is responsible for ensuring community outcomes while meeting legislative requirements. Areas regulated include Food Safety, Environmental Health, Animal Management, and Alcohol Licensing to ensure community safety.

Our Customer Services & Triage Officers provide professional administration and customer support for field staff, including Animal Management Officers, Compliance Officers, and Environmental Health Officers. The team triages service requests, allocates work efficiently, and dispatches Officers following the Regulatory Compliance strategy and legislative requirements, while delivering exceptional customer service.
We are seeking someone to join us in a 12-month fixed-term capacity.
You will engage effectively with others and provide exemplary service to customers. You should be adaptable, a problem solver, and proactive in finding solutions. The role requires workload management and collaboration with team members to achieve goals. Strong, respectful communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. You will also need:
* Minimum Certificate in Business Administration or relevant qualification with extensive legislative experience.
* Three years' experience in administering legislation within a compliance/regulatory environment.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage variable workloads.
* Accuracy and attention to detail.
* High level of knowledge and interpretation of legislation and bylaws.

Hours of work: 37.5 - 40 hours per week
Position: Fixed term full-time
Location: 10 Metro Place, Bromley
Salary: $74,394 to $82,660 per annum, based on experience and skills, for a 40-hour week.
