The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional seeking a flexible role within a reputable and supportive environment.
As Payroll Analyst, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of multiple payrolls, while also supporting process improvement and compliance across the department.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing end-to-end payroll for a portfolio of clients
* Calculating PAYE, NI, pensions, and statutory payments (SMP, SPP, SSP)
* Processing new starters, leavers, and changes accurately
* Handling Real Time Information (RTI) submissions
* Supporting pension auto-enrolment and related reporting
* Assisting with payroll audits and year-end procedures
* Providing expert payroll support and advice to clients and colleagues
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a detail-oriented and confident payroll professional with a solid background in client or multi-payroll environments. The successful candidate will thrive in a flexible, part-time position and bring strong analytical and communication skills to the team.
You will ideally have:
* 3+ years' payroll experience, ideally within practice or bureau environment
* A strong understanding of PAYE, NI, and statutory payments
* Confidence managing end-to-end payroll processes
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
* A proactive, team-oriented approach
* Familiarity with modern payroll software and HMRC reporting requirements
