Lecturer In Childcare & Education / Functional Skills (EL778)
Salary: £28,997 - £43,748 (per annum)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Ellesmere Port Campus
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and teach on a range of Childcare & Education courses;
* Prepare and teach on Functional Skills courses;
* Contribute to aspirational teaching, learning and assessment;
* Train and assess learners in the workplace when required;
* Keep accurate records for learners’ progress in College and the workplace.
Person Specification Requirements
* Degree (or equivalent) in relevant discipline;
* GCSE Grade C (4/5) in Maths and English;
* PGCE or commitment to work towards;
* Proven experience of teaching Education and Childcare;
* Knowledge and understanding of awarding body standards and requirements;
* Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment;
* Experience of working in Further Education;
* Up-to-date occupational experience;
* Enhanced DBS check.
