What you'll be doing
As our new Deputy Fashion Editor, you'll dive into the exciting world of women's lifestyle fashion. Your responsibilities will include content creation, from compiling features to writing engaging copy for print. You'll support the Group Fashion Director and Fashion Editor, streamlining editorial processes and ensuring deadlines are met with styled content. Additionally, you'll research the latest trends, connect with PRs, and identify emerging styles to keep our brands relevant.
Beyond your desk, you'll attend exclusive press events as a key ambassador for Future Publishing, networking and sourcing trends and imagery for your work.
You will collaborate with Editors and Art Directors to ensure visually stunning content and engage with wider teams across Future Publishing, including Digital Content and Commercial Partnerships, to understand how your work contributes to the company's success.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve
* Proven experience as a Fashion Editor, Deputy Fashion Editor, or Senior Fashion Writer within a magazine, newspaper, or leading digital publication, specifically within the women's lifestyle sector.
* A strong understanding of fashion trends, designers, and industry landscape, with the ability to identify new styles and talent.
* Experience sourcing and directing fashion shoots, working with photographers, stylists, and models.
* Proficiency in creating high-quality, engaging print content.
* Understanding of magazine content workflows, including deadline management.
What's in it for you
The expected salary range is £30,000 - £37,000.
This is a Hybrid role based in our London Office, working three days in the office and two from home.
This is a 12-Month FTC position.
