Overview
Senior Surveyor – Property Asset Management (Genuine Asset Management) – London, United Kingdom. This role is with a global commercial real estate advisory firm, offering the opportunity to work on property management services for clients and occupiers within the London Real Estate Management team.
Responsibilities
* Tenant liaison and dealing with formal landlord and tenant matters such as applications to assign, sub-let or carry out alterations.
* Liaising with building, facilities and estate managers on day-to-day maintenance, repair and operational issues.
* Setting and managing operating service charge budgets across a range of assets in the London region, including high-profile properties.
* Monitoring income and managing credit control alongside dedicated accounting personnel.
* Client reporting – assist in the production of monthly/quarterly reports as required and attendance at client meetings.
Qualifications & Skills
* MRICS qualification is preferred but not essential. If you are working towards qualification, you will be fully supported.
* Experience in property management activities, particularly with service charge budgets and related processes.
* Able to identify and pursue asset management opportunities to assist the client team.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise workloads.
* Experience of working as part of a team to deliver results and using own initiative.
* Experience of property management platforms (including Yardi Voyager) is an advantage, but training will be provided.
