About This Role
Are you a Class 1 Driver looking for a new opportunity, or an experienced HGV Driver ready for a fresh challenge in the Truck and Trailer rental sector? As a Class 1 Driver with Dawsongroup Truck and Trailer, you will play a vital role in keeping our fleet moving, supporting customers across the UK while representing our brand with professionalism and pride.
Deliver and collect commercial vehicles and trailers to and from customer sites, workshops and company locations.
Present vehicles for MOT and support basic vehicle checks before every journey.
Complete driver defect reports and notify management of any issues promptly.
Assist with vehicle check in and check out, cleaning and yard organisation.
Represent Dawsongroup with a polite and professional approach at all times.
About You
You are a qualified Class 1 Driver who takes pride in doing the job properly, safely and respectfully. You understand that every delivery is a customer experience and that reliability and care matter just as much as driving skill.
Hold a valid UK LGV HGV Class 1 licence.
Hold a valid Driver Qualification Card.
Comfortable completing basic paperwork and vehicle checks.
Flexible and adaptable, as no two days look the same.
Professional in appearance and manner when meeting customers.
