Permanent Veterinary Nurse - Grimsby, Lincolnshire

We are recruiting for a small animal practice in Grimsby who are looking for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their enthusiastic team. The role is full time with 1 in 4 Saturdays from 9am to 3pm. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
The role will be most suited to a bright and energetic veterinary nurse who wants to develop their skills in a fast-paced and exciting environment. The practice is looking to build up their long-term team with nurses who can support the team of talented vets. The role will involve all aspects of nursing so you must be confident in all areas. You must be able to work under pressure, but you will be supported by the practice to ensure you are able to work comfortably and provide the best level of care to their patients and clients. The role will involve all aspects of nursing and you will be prepared to develop your skills by collaborating with the team. You must have excellent attention to detail and great organisational skills.
Duties:
3. Assisting in the day to day running of the practice
4. Admissions and discharges
5. Working alongside the non-clinical and clinical team to ensure the smooth delivery of patient and client care
6. Be responsible and take ownership of tasks
7. Monitoring operations and assisting the Vet in surgery
8. Administering medications and taking records accurately
9. In patient care
10. Nurse clinics
11. Measuring blood pressure, sampling, and pharmacy work
