They are looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to join and help support the strategic growth of the business. You'll be taking the lead for all Commercial Finance duties, a varied role with business partnering, commercial analysis, profitability & growth analysis, and forecasting. They are looking for someone with strong commercial finance experience - ideally within the FMCG, retail or consumer goods industries.Your new role
Reporting into the CFO, you'll be responsible for:
* Partner closely with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain to provide commercial insight and decision support across the business
* Lead budgeting, forecasting and rolling forecasts, including volume, price, mix and margin analysis
* Own and deliver P&L management, with a strong focus on gross margin, net revenue and cost control
* Drive pricing, promotions and trade spend analysis, ensuring ROI is clearly understood and optimised
* Provide robust commercial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives and NPD
* Act as a key finance lead for customer and channel profitability analysis
* Challenge stakeholders constructively to improve commercial performance and decision-making
* Develop and maintain clear, actionable management reporting for senior leadership
* Identify risks and opportunities, translating data into practical commercial recommendations
What you'll need to succeed
You'll be a qualified finance professional with proven experience within a commercial finance role, ideally within the FMCG / consumer goods / retail sector. You'll be a confident business partner and be keen to have a sole charge role for all things commercial finance.What you'll get in return
