Position: English Teacher Location: Stevenage Contract: Full-Time Start Date: September Key Stages: KS3–KS5 English Teaching Role in a Good School A well-regarded Good school in Stevenage is seeking to appoint a passionate and knowledgeable English Teacher to join its successful English department from September. About the Role You will teach English Language and English Literature across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that foster a love of learning and academic achievement. Students study a diverse range of texts, including classic and contemporary literature, poetry, drama, fiction, and non-fiction, while developing analytical, evaluative, and creative writing skills. You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level English examinations, supporting them in achieving strong outcomes and progressing to higher education and future careers. The successful candidate will contribute to a collaborative department that is committed to curriculum development, student progress, and continuous improvement.
