About the Role You will teach English Language and English Literature across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that foster a love of learning and academic achievement. Students study a diverse range of texts, including classic and contemporary literature, poetry, drama, fiction, and non-fiction, while developing analytical, evaluative, and creative writing skills. You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level English examinations, supporting them in achieving strong outcomes and progressing to higher education and future careers. The successful candidate will contribute to a collaborative department that is committed to curriculum development, student progress, and continuous improvement.
