Manager, Corporate Simplification

Interpath is an international, fast‑growing advisory business with deep expertise across a broad range of specialisms spanning deals, advisory and restructuring.
We seek a Manager to join our UK team. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid model, combining home and office working with in‑person client and business‑development meetings at external locations.
Responsibilities
* Deliver advisory work across closure management, pre‑liquidation planning and due diligence; liaise with management and advisors to identify and implement innovative solutions to client challenges.
* Manage a portfolio of MVLs from appointment to closure, ensuring statutory compliance and case progression in line with agreed timetables and budgets.
* Support engagement leaders and senior staff while coaching, developing and mentoring junior team members.
* Lead business development initiatives, including thought leadership, opportunity targeting, client proposals and pipeline management, whilst maintaining a professional network.
* Onboard clients and monitor developments in legislation, case law and best practice, recommending and implementing process improvements where appropriate.
Qualifications
* Detailed knowledge of the MVL process and relevant insolvency legislation across Scotland, England and Wales, with proven experience preparing entities for closure and managing a portfolio of MVLs.
* Experience delivering LER projects in collaboration with key stakeholders, with a strong understanding of corporate law, tax implications, accounting principles and operational considerations relating to entity elimination.
* Highly organised self‑starter with strong time management, able to handle multiple priorities and shifting deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce high‑quality analysis and reports underpinned by sound financial, commercial and business acumen.
* Committed, proactive and enthusiastic team player, equally effective working independently, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and deliver excellent client service.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* A university degree, CPI/JIEB qualification and an accountancy qualification (CA/ACA/ACCA) are preferred.
