Join Close Brothers Motor Finance Team where your role as an Account Manager will be to sell motor finance related products in a given geographical region. You will be expected, through a high degree of sales skills, to grow the dealer base and new business by acquisition of new motor dealers, whilst maintaining current relationships and developing them to their maximum potential. Our ideal team member will be a self-motivated sales led individual who has excellent planning and organisational skills. You need to be a good communicator with strong influencing skills encouraging dealers to increase the penetration levels of motor finance business and be able to train and develop their sales people to increase revenue; you will also have the ability to negotiate rates, terms and funding packages with your dealer’s base. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop Sales strategy for the territory to achieve sales targets. To ensure sales targets are achieved by product type within Cars, LCV & Motorcycles dealers to the set KPIs Develop market intelligence to inform on products, promotion and pricing decisions Ensure Dealer Relationships perform to a margin quality and efficiency targets Lead Business Development of significant accounts across all products. Input into funding Strategy and acquisition of new funded dealers To ensure that there is an optimum territory management system in place for a defined area and that you develop a sales strategy plan, which is to include all steps of the sales process from the initial meeting to the final presentation. Support internal functions such as Collections, Complaints and Compliance to improve the quality of service. Assess, identify and mitigate risks and ensure compliance to applicable internal policies and external regulations e.g.FCA/Money Laundering/Data Protection Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required. WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE: Proven account management of geographically territory. Proven Key Account business development capability at management Level Demonstrable experience of a structured sales process Excellent skills on Power Point – Excel – Word – Outlook required A Valid UK driving licence – it is recommended that you have no more than 6 points IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE: Proven track record in account management ideally within the Motor Industry Knowledge of regulations relating to compliance, money laundering, AML, CCD, CCA We are an inclusive organisation and committed to ensuring our recruitment process is as accessible as possible to everyone.
