Overview
We are recruiting for a Design Manager/Senior Design Manager to join our UK South Construction division on a Healthcare project. The role requires a deep understanding of tender/project design requirements and the ability to support design coordinators effectively.

Responsibilities
* Have input into the selection of the design team.
* Agree the design team’s responsibilities and scope of services.
* Agree tender and construction programme with the design team.
* Hold and minute regular design meetings and involve critical sub‑contractors as necessary.
* Advise on the selection of specialist sub‑contractors.
* Consider alternative building methods, subcontractor engagement, and materials.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience managing a full design team and overseeing design managers and coordinators.
* Knowledge of site/contract procedures.
* Ability to organise, plan, programme and manage workloads.
* Good working knowledge of Building Regulations and Planning Permission procedures.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint / View Point for Projects (4Projects).
* Strong internal package and change control experience, ideally with BSA experience and Healthcare exposure.
