Certain Advantage is partnering with a key nuclear client to recruit a Project Engineer. Youll provide fit-for-purpose engineering solutions for projects or engineering support on more complex projects and ensure that design authority standards and configuration control are applied appropriately.
What will you be doing?
1. Determine and capture functional requirements along with stakeholder expectations for allocated projects.
2. Assist in developing the Project Execution Plan, including approaches for design, safety case development, and commissioning.
3. Contribute to the evaluation and selection of project options.
4. Produce conceptual designs and deliver practical, fit-for-purpose engineering solutions.
5. Prepare and/or review and authorise technical specifications.
6. Oversee detailed design work in line with established design authority requirements.
7. Develop modification proposals when necessary, fulfilling the role of Nominated Responsible Engineer where assigned.
