Role Overview
Field based sales management position, overseeing the design, manufacture and install of outdoor playground equipment.
Managing a team of six field sales professionals nationally targeting local authorities, but also schools & nurseries, parish councils, landscape architects and leisure operators.
Responsible for a turnover of approx. £9m.
90% coaching, mentoring and developing the field sales team, 10% direct selling, building relationships with key customers.
Working with product development team to identify market trends.
Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics.
Strong IT skills with an interest in improving efficiencies by digitalisation.
Qualifications
* Proven track record in managing a field sales team (open to regional)
* Ideally structured (blue chip) sales training e.g. Coca-Cola, Yellow Pages, Hilti etc.
* Ideally at least some customer experience within local authorities, schools & nurseries, parish councils, landscape architects or leisure operators
* Must understand sales processes
* Not afraid of hard graft
* New business mentality
* Proven coach, mentor and trainer of field sales staff
* High energy levels/ on the up in career
* Knowledge of outdoor playground equipment although ideal is not required as full product training will be provided
* Not job hoppers/ journey men
* Computer literate
