Team Overview:
The Production team oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of all manufacturing and assembly activities within our fabrication facilities. They ensure that bespoke mechanical and electrical components are produced efficiently, to the highest quality standards, and delivered on schedule. By maintaining streamlined workflows and close collaboration with design and project teams, the Production department plays a key role in supporting timely and successful project delivery.
Role Overview:
Alternative Heat are seeking a highly organised and proactive Sub-Contractor Coordinator to manager and oversee the tendering and onboarding process for subcontractors within our Data Centre and Decarbonisation projects. This role will be responsible for end-to-end coordination of outsourcing packages of work, including sourcing, evaluating and onboarding subcontractors aligned with our project requirements and business objectives.
What You'll be Doing
Manage the end-to-end tender process for subcontractor packages, from scope definition and RFQ issuance to evaluation and contract award, in collaboration with engineering, commercial, and project teams. Source and onboard new subcontractors by conducting thorough due diligence, including assessments of capability, compliance, and HSEQ standards. Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors to ensure performance, resolve queries, and support ongoing improvement. Ensure accurate documentation, monitor compliance with legal and contractual requirements, and maintain performance metrics. Continuously contribute to process enhancements and identify opportunities for improving subcontractor engagement and management.
