Overview
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced nurse to join our dedicated team at Heathlands. We are a dynamic unit providing rehab care to 20 patients. As a junior sister / charge nurse, you will work closely with our MDT to support in optimising a patient’s rehab journey and facilitating a safe discharge plan home for them. We are looking to appoint a dynamic individual with strong interpersonal skills, compassionate and enthusiastic about supporting our patients to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities
* Responsible and accountable for assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care without supervision.
* Lead and monitor performance
* Lead on projects and audits as appropriate
* Contribute to the development of the service and personal development of all nursing staff within the clinical area of responsibility
* Deputise for the ward Sister/Matron in their absence.
