Job Title: Assistant Project Manager
About this opportunity
An exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to support the delivery of significant projects from inception through construction to handover as an Assistant Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Stakeholder and Communications Management: Maintain clear and concise communication with project stakeholders, emphasizing verbal communication.
2. Budgetary and Cost Control: Prepare, agree, and monitor project budgets, invoicing, and cash flows.
3. Scope Management: Prepare and agree on the initial Project Brief; track project involvement against the original brief.
4. Schedule Management: Manage the Project Programme on a per-job basis.
5. Risk and Issue Management: Conduct risk workshops, propose mitigation strategies, and monitor risks throughout the project.
6. Contract Management and Procurement: Conduct procurement workshops, prepare appointment letters, scope of services, and fee schedules.
7. Quality Management: Ensure quality in personal and project progression using company documentation.
8. Leadership: Motivate team members and challenge stakeholders to ensure project success.
Support and Training
All staff are assigned a line manager and a mentor. Full training and support will be provided by The Growth Company to help you succeed in your role.

Qualifications and Personal Qualities:
* Minimum 5 GCSEs at Level 5 and above, including Maths and English.
* Desirable: A levels, BTEC, or experience in a professional or administrative environment.

* Personable, professional, and trustworthy.
* Ability to handle confidential information.
* Willingness to learn and demonstrate MGC values.
Skills Required:
* Full UK driving license and access to a car.
* Excellent punctuality and time management.
* Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
* Good planning and organizational skills.
* Numerical skills and data presentation abilities.
