Overview
European manufacturer of special purpose machinery seek the solid appointment of an Electro Mechanical Field Service Engineer to service, maintain, repair and install their range of popular and preferred machinery. This is an exciting time to join the business and you'll be given full product training of their machinery range. Essential to the role is your electrical knowledge with the ability to confidently fault find and also turn your hand mechanically when required if needed. Further hydraulics and pneumatics experience is also beneficial as well as a trustworthy and approachable disposition to work well on your own and also help train their loyal customer base. This position will require you to work away and stay away when required, whereby your accommodation and all expenses will naturally be covered. The role will take you to varied environments; there will be no stagnation with this position. Being paid door to door and with overtime, there is genuine scope to earn mid £50K's+. Location of candidates is relatively flexible.
Responsibilities
* Service, maintain, repair and install the company's machinery range.
* Confidently fault find using electrical knowledge; perform mechanical tasks when required.
* Utilise hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge where applicable; train and support customer base as needed.
* Work away and stay away when required; accommodation and expenses covered by the company.
* Travel to varied environments and maintain a proactive, unsupervised work approach.
* Operate in a manner that reflects the company's values and customer service standards.
Qualifications & Experience
* Electrical knowledge with the ability to fault find.
* Mechanical aptitude for basic hands-on tasks when required.
* Hydraulics and pneumatics experience is beneficial.
* Trustworthy and approachable with the ability to work independently and train customers as needed.
* Willingness to travel/work away as required.
Remuneration & Location
Competitive earnings with door-to-door pay and overtime; genuine scope to earn mid-£50Ks. Location of candidates is relatively flexible.
