I am currently recruiting for a large housing association who require a fire and security lead.
Salary-£38,000 - £41,500
Location-Exeter, Plymouth

We're currently looking for an experienced and qualified Fire & Security Lead to join our Property Compliance Team covering our Devon locality. As you'll spend a fair amount of time on the road we will provide you with a business use van and fuel card so you'll not be out of pocket.

Audit F&S certification from external contractors and 10% of their on-site works
Carry out safety and technical audits on F&S Engineers and F&S contractors and undertake site validations and pre and post-inspections
Apply knowledge and skills to record and report on status and condition of fire and security services equipment encountered via periodic inspection sheets and minor works/installation certificates.
Test/Service/Install
Fire Systems/Emergency Lighting/AOV/CCTV
Identify faults and repair/Install
Door Entry/Door Access/Door OperatorsWhat you'll need:
A minimum of 5 years Industry Experience
F.I.A or equivalent Certifications
Ideally be Electrically Qualified although not essential
Proven Industry work experience for fire/door entry & access will be desirableYou should have experience of working in occupied premises and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
You'll enjoy working alone or as part of a team and be confident in using IT technology such as iPads and Microsoft Word packages such as basic excel and other IT software.
This is a full time role, working 40 Hours per week, with the opportunity to supplement your salary through your participation in the out of hours rota, minimum 1 in 10 weeks.
Due to the requirement to travel within this role, you must hold a full and current driving licence with a minimum of 1 years driving experience and have the ability to drive a company van.
