Post holders will be required to assist patients and visitors using a variety of communication methods. To be able to provide a robust service: the post holder will be expected to work on a rota basis ensuring the service is appropriately covered at all times across a seven day week and be responsible for admitting and discharging patients in a timely manner. Ensuring any relevant post admission information is sent to the relevant person(s). It is vital that patients are appropriately tracked through the process to ensure they receive care at the appropriate times, therefore, there will be an element of validation and auditing required to ensure patients are treated in a timely and efficient manner.
